Confidence is stronger when a child has something real to be confident about.
Why Confidence Starts With Competence
At Praxis, learners develop confidence by learning practical skills, putting those skills into practice and experiencing their own progress. Rather than simply encouraging children to “be confident”, we give them opportunities to become more capable, and to recognise what they can do.
Learners put these skills into practice through guided performance work, regular feedback, and opportunities to perform before others. Internal performance experiences allow them to apply their training, demonstrate their progress, and discover what they are capable of.
Where appropriate, Praxis also facilitates opportunities such as Eisteddfods, festivals, and recognised examinations, allowing learners to apply their skills in new performance environments.
Confidence Through Competence
Confidence grows when learners have evidence of what they can do.
At Praxis, the skills learners develop support them not only on stage, but in the classroom and in everyday life.
Discover how Praxis helps learners develop skills that benefit them both on and beyond the stage.
More Than Performance. Skills for Life.

Parents want their children to communicate with confidence, believe in their abilities, handle challenges, and express themselves freely. These skills can influence how a child participates at school, connects with others, approaches new opportunities, and responds when life becomes difficult.
Praxis develops these qualities through structured training and meaningful performance experience. Each area below shows how your child can benefit from the Praxis programme.

Every Child Has Challenges. Every Child Can Grow.
You know your child is capable of more. Sometimes they simply need the right guidance and opportunities to discover what they can do.

Every child develops at their own pace. Some may struggle to speak confidently, perform under pressure, communicate their ideas or step forward in front of others.
Praxis provides structured opportunities for learners to develop these skills through practical training, guided performance and feedback.
